Aluminium itself isn't magnetic, so every MagnetArt print comes with its own magnetic mount: a strong magnet for the back of the print and an adhesive base for the wall. Together they hold the print in place without nails or drilling.

Prepare Your Wall
Choose a clean, dry, smooth surface such as a painted wall, wood, glass or tiles. Wipe away dust so the adhesive can stick.

Attach the magnet to the back of your print. Peel the backing from the adhesive base and press it firmly onto the wall for a few seconds.

Clean, dry, smooth surfaces
Painted walls, wood, glass and tiles work best.
Rough or textured walls
Avoid bare brick, render or heavily textured finishes, where the base may not hold.
Press firmly
Press the adhesive base firmly onto the wall for a few seconds.
Removing the base
How any adhesive comes away depends on your paint and wall. We can't promise removal without marks on every surface, so if you're renting or your paint is delicate, check with us (and your landlord) first.
Repositioning
The print lifts off the base to straighten or reposition it. Moving the base itself means removing the adhesive.

What is magnetic wall art?
Wall art that hangs with a magnetic mount instead of nails or hooks. At MagnetArt, your photo is sublimation-printed on a 1 mm aluminium panel and supplied with a magnetic mount, so you can hang it without drilling.
How does the MagnetArt mounting system work?
Aluminium isn't magnetic, so each print comes with two parts: a strong magnet that attaches to the back of the print, and an adhesive base that goes on the wall. Place the print onto the base and the magnets hold it in position. See the step-by-step mounting instructions.
Do I need to drill holes?
No. Installed as instructed, the adhesive base sticks to the wall, so there's no drilling and no nails.
Will the adhesive damage my wall?
The base uses an adhesive, and how any adhesive comes away depends on the paint and the wall. We can't promise removal without marks on every surface. If you're renting or your paint is delicate, please contact us (and check with your landlord) before mounting.
