A metal photo print is an image printed directly onto a thin aluminium panel instead of paper or canvas. Your image is printed in HD onto a lightweight aluminium panel with a glossy finish. Each print comes with our magnetic mount: a magnetic base that sticks to the wall and a matching magnetic piece for the back of your print.

Canvas has a fabric texture and is usually stretched over a wooden frame, which softens the image and adds bulk. A metal print is smooth and frameless and sits close to the wall, so colours look brighter and details sharper, and the surface is easy to wipe clean. The original photo file, in focus and well lit, gives the best result. Choose the orientation that matches your photo (portrait or landscape), and avoid photos where the main subject sits right at the edge, as the image is fitted to the print’s shape.

Yes. You can upload straight from your phone’s photo library or from a computer. For the sharpest print, upload the original photo rather than a screenshot or a copy saved from social media or a messaging app, which are usually compressed.

Our team checks and enhances every image before printing, which helps most phone photos look their best. Very small or heavily compressed images can still print softer than expected, especially at larger sizes. Our refund policy doesn’t cover results caused by low-resolution images, so if you’re unsure, contact us before you order.

No. The magnetic base sticks to the wall, so there are no nails, screws or drilling – a popular choice for renters and anyone who wants photo prints without drilling.

The adhesive base works best on smooth, clean, dry surfaces such as painted walls, wood, glass and tiles. Avoid rough or textured surfaces like bare brick or render, where the base may not hold well. If you’re unsure about your wall, ask us before ordering.

Yes. Your print lifts straight off the magnetic base, so you can straighten it, take it down or swap in another MagnetArt whenever you like.

Gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scourers and rough cloths, which can scratch the glossy finish.

Yes. We deliver our metal photo prints across Australia – every state and territory, including regional areas – with tracking. We also ship to selected countries overseas.

Every print is made to order, which takes 2–5 business days. Delivery then takes 3–7 business days within Australia, or 7–14 business days internationally. These are estimates rather than guaranteed dates, and they can be longer in peak periods such as Christmas.

When your print is dispatched we’ll email you a tracking number. You can also check progress on our order tracking page.

Contact us as soon as possible. Orders can only be changed or cancelled before production starts, because each print is made specifically for you. If a cancellation is approved, non-recoverable costs such as payment fees may be deducted from the refund where the law allows.

We’ll make it right. Email sales@magnetart.com.au within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage, and keep the packaging. Once we’ve reviewed it, we’ll repair, replace or reprint your order, or give you a refund.

Because each print is made to order from your photo, we can’t accept change-of-mind returns. Products that are faulty, damaged in transit or not made to your order details are covered, and nothing affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See our return and refund policy.
