How to Mount Your MagnetArt

Everything you need to hang your print comes in the box. No drill, nails or tools required. Follow the four steps below.

What's in the Box

Your print arrives with its own magnetic mount. Aluminium itself isn't magnetic, so the mount does the holding.

Your photo, sublimation-printed on a 1 mm aluminium panel.
The magnetic mount
A strong magnet for the back of the print, and an adhesive base for the wall.

Clean the Wall
Choose a clean, dry, smooth spot such as a painted wall, wood, glass or tiles. Wipe away any dust so the adhesive can stick properly, and decide where you want the print to hang.

Attach the Magnet to Your Print
Peel the backing from the magnet and press it firmly onto the back of your print.

Stick the Base to the Wall
Peel the protective layer from the adhesive base and press it firmly onto the wall for a few seconds, where you want the print to hang.

Place Your Print
Bring the print to the base and the magnets hold it in position. To straighten it, lift it off and place it again.

The mount sticks with adhesive, so the wall matters. Check these first.

Clean, dry, smooth surfaces
Painted walls, wood, glass and tiles work best.
Rough or textured walls
Avoid bare brick, render or heavily textured finishes, where the base may not hold.
Press firmly
Press the adhesive base firmly onto the wall for a few seconds.

Repositioning
The print lifts off the base to straighten or reposition it. Moving the base itself means removing the adhesive.
Removing the base
How any adhesive comes away depends on your paint and wall. We can't promise removal without marks on every surface, so if you're renting or your paint is delicate, check with us (and your landlord) before mounting.

Planning to put a different print on the same base? Please contact us first and we'll confirm what's compatible.
Caring for your print
Wipe gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scourers and rough cloths.
